New dating app doesn't allow users to see photos until they connect

S'More wants people to interact and not match merely because of looks.

A one-of-a-kind dating app is launching in Dallas. S’More (a.k.a. Something More) doesn't allow users to see photos of potential mates in the beginning. As you learn about the person on the other end, their pictures gradually unlock. So, the more you interact and chat with someone, the more their profile unblurs.

S’More is trying to help singles make more meaningful connections rather than a quick swipe based on looks alone. The app verifies 100% of users to prevent catfishing.

In honor of S’More launching in Dallas this Thursday, they will feature multiple DFW celebrities on their Instagram page. Guests include LeeAnne Locken, D'Andra Simmons, and Kary Britt from the Real Housewives of Dallas. Melissa Rycroft, former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader and reality show contestant, will also host an episode.
