The knock against Dave & Buster's has always been that they've been introducing gambling to kids at a very young age. It's the closest thing to a night at a Las Vegas casino a 10-year-old could ever experience.
Now, it appears the chain is leaning into that notion, and have announced that guests 18 and older will soon be allowed to gamble on their arcade games!
According to CNBC, next month Dave & Buster's will allow adults guests to place real money wagers through their app on their games, and the service will be added to all 223 locations nationwide.
The restaurant is planning to limit how much you can gamble on games, so unfortunately no rounds of Skee-ball for $1,000 a pop. They haven't said what the limit will be yet, but restaurants officials speculate the average amount placed on their games will be around $10.
We think that might be wishful thinking.
