Wisconsin health officials have warned against their residents from participating in one of the state's, apparently, most-beloved holiday traditions.
The Department of Health Services for the Badger State has warned against eating the "cannibal sandwich," a sandwich which consists of raw ground beef, sliced onions, salt and pepper, all served on bread.

The department said in a tweet, "eating raw meat is NEVER recommended because of the bacteria it can contain."
There have been eight raw meat-related outbreaks in Wisconsin since 1986, including a salmonella outbreak that affected more than 150 people in December 1994.
