Longtime General Manager Donnie Nelson parted way with the Mavs on Wednesday. Less than 24 hours later, head coach Rick Carlisle announced he was also moving on to other endeavors.
The plot thickens. On Friday, Los Mavs announced they were bringing back the GOAT Dirk Nowitzki as a special adviser. In his new role, "the Tall Baller from the G" will help find replacements for the head coach and GM roles.
