Twitter was on fire Thursday afternoon when news broke that Rick Carlisle was resigning from the Dallas Mavericks. The announcement came less than 24 hour after the team parted ways with longtime GM Donnie Nelson.
An ESPN host shared the news via a couple of Tweets.
Shortly after the Tweets started circulating, the team released a statement from owner Mark Cuban.
