Sunday was Fan Appreciation Day at the Dallas Mavericks game. There was a pre-game party on the plaza before they beat San Antonio Spurs. (Yes, we had to include that important detail.)
Part of the festivities included performances from the Mavs ManiAACs, autograph sessions from past players, face-painting contests for playoffs tickets, and a Dirk Nowitzki book signing.
Garren Lesko is a bona fide MFFL. He and his wife have a six-month-old son named Maverick. As Dirkules is scrawling his name into books, Lesko (donning a Mavs jersey & cap) approaches with a baby (also wearing a Mavs jersey & cap). What happens next is adorable.
Still can't believe my son got meet Dirk and dirk actually talked to him! He's the best human on the planet! Thanks so much @swish41 I can't wait to show Maverick the video when he's older! 🐐 #MFFL 41.21.1 pic.twitter.com/WINKGr7Yme

Maverick Lesko got a tiny handshake a "How's it going, Bud?" from the Tall Baller from the G. How is Garren ever gonna top this moment? Lol.
