When you think of Dolly Parton, the first thing you think of his absolutely the big…hair, but her luscious locks apparently are just as functionable as they are fashionable.
Parton recently revealed that there is a secret compartment in her wigs that she uses to hide her wireless microphone packs!
Parton said that not only does it prevent her mic pack from clashing with her outfits, there really isn't anywhere else to put it.
She said in an interview with CMT, "My wig cap has a little pocket on it in the back because my clothes are so tight my mic pack don't fit nowhere. There's only room for me in my clothes.
"So I have it to where the mic fits in my hair, 'cause I wear wigs all the time, and so it goes right over it and we just kind of mic it around and it works perfect."
Parton is gearing up for her upcoming gig co-hosting NBC's New Year's Eve Party with her goddaughter, Miley Cyrus.
And next year, she'll be releasing a rock album, which she told TODAY's Hoda Kotb is "some of the best work" she's ever done. "I think so," she added. "Only because it's different for me. I wanted it to be good."
