As we've been approaching Valentine's Day, Miles in the Morning has spent ample time discussing why they think it's a ridiculous holiday, and to spend a lot of time and money on it is foolish.
Well, they may have just ruined this marriage because of that.
A woman named Alison wrote in for the Dr. Miles Intervention this morning, saying that she's heard Jeff, Rebekah, and Luckey's conversations about how couples should show their love on a "random Tuesday in September" rather than a day that the greeting card companies invented, and she's been swayed!
Alison told her husband she didn't want to do anything for Valentine's Day, and therein lies the problem: he's already planned an extravagant day! He told her he had a TON of big things planned, and now he's not supposed to do them?!
Alison heard all the stories of couples celebrating their love all year round, and she wants that instead of a big Valentine's Day.
