Being a parent is without a doubt the hardest job in the world, and there should never be an issue with them seeking help of any kind.
Unfortunately, this woman is getting chastised, from her HUSBAND, no less for doing just that.
The woman explained on Reddit that she works out of the house, and her husband works from home. As soon as she steps "through the door" from working her full-time job, "he hands me the baby and he's 'off the clock.'"
That means no more baby duty for him. She even says that most weekends, all she does is take care of their son because that's his "time off."
This woman is even tasked with doing all the chores on the weekend because her husband does all that Monday through Friday, so it's her job "when she's home."
So, this woman wanted to hire a babysitter on the weekend just so she could have a break for a few hours, and he said it was a huge waste of money. She's hired one before just so she could nap during the day, and her husband chastised her, and woke her up to tell her she was just "throwing our money down the toilet."
She even said he told her she needed "to figure out how to juggle being a working mom."
This woman refused to apologize, and is planning on doing it again. Is she wrong for wanting to hire a babysitter, even though she'd still be home while they were at the house?
