We've seen stories like this too often lately, drivers following their GPS directions to wherever it tells them, even if that's the middle of a body of water.
That's what happened to a DoorDash driver in Middleton, Massachusetts who was attempting to fulfill a customer's Dunkin' order, and claimed they followed their car's GPS which led them down a dirt road right into a swamp.
Per FOX 4, police said the vehicle was still running though it was partially submerged in water. The car was towed from the scene, and at the driver's request, they were transported to an area hospital.
Police said the driver will be charged with negligent operation of a motor vehicle, and a request for immediate threat license suspension was also filed with the Registry of Motor Vehicles.
