Florida man Reginal Horner went to pick up his stepchild from daycare last Friday which under any other circumstance, sounds like a wonderful father taking care of his children.
Unfortunately, Horner was drunk when he was doing so.
The daycare workers did not realize he was drunk, so they sent the pair on their way. You can imagine their surprise when Horner showed right back up to the facility looking for his kid.
When the workers tried to tell Horner he had already picked his kid up, he insisted he hadn't.
Well, it turns out in between trips to the daycare, Horner had taken his stepchild to a store, left them there, and completely forgot he already picked them up.
It was at this point daycare workers noticed signs that Horner may have bene intoxicated, so they called the police. A missing child investigation was launched, and the child was found and safely returned to his mother.
According to News4Jax, Horner was arrested, and is now facing charges of drunk driving and child neglect.
