Chicago police were informed late Tuesday night of a man who was able to hop a wire fence at Midway International Airport in an attempt to try to stop a private jet from taking off by jumping onto the plane.
CBS reports that the man scaled the 12-foot fence to get onto the tarmac, leaving his shirt, shoes, and pants behind.
A pilot can be heard on the air traffic control scanner, "This guy is stripping butt-naked right now."
The man had no shirt or shoes on, his jacket was left blowing in the wind on the barbed wire fence, and believe it or not, police said he appeared to be intoxicated as he started walking toward that small private jet.
Chicago Police said the suspect was quickly apprehended. He was taken to Loyola Medicine MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn for a mental evaluation.
No other flight operations were interrupted at Midway during the investigation.
