Animals are really just like humans in more ways than we know, right?
A raccoon in Virginia has gone viral after over the weekend, it broke into a liquor store, got drunk, and proceeded to pass out in the store’s bathroom.
Store employees are unclear how the raccoon snuck in, they just arrived for their morning shift to find broken bottles, disheveled shelves, and the animal on the bathroom floor.
According to WRDW, animal control let the raccoon sleep it off at an animal shelter, upon which it was released back into the wild.
Officials were quoted saying there were “zero signs of injury, other than maybe a hangover."
