More often than not, visitors to the Dallas Farmers Market on Saturdays will see a group of teens encouraging crowds to come check out the bevy of items they have for sale.

This would be a group of students from Duncanville ISD, who are taking classes in entrepreneurship that will teach them to become young business owners.

Brian Duncan teaches the class at Duncanville High School, and guides his students through everything from writing a formal business plan to the elevator pitch.

He tells WFAA, "I want them to see themselves as business owner, because so often we are training our kids to be better employees. But why not train them to be bosses."

The ultimate goal for Duncan's students is opening their own business.

"It's a huge game-changer," student Aleeyah Carter explained.

"Normally, schools wouldn't even think of even having an entrepreneurship class that is very hands on. So, it gives you more of an experience."
