Every teacher deserves a raise, and thankfully, Duncanville ISD agrees with that sentiment.
Every employee in the school district, including teachers and staff members, will be receiving a $2,000 bonus for all their tireless dedication during the ongoing pandemic.
The bonus was approved by the school board during the budget process over the summer as “an expression of gratitude to you – our employees – for your dedication during the current health pandemic and your commitment to our students,” according to Superintendent Dr. Marc Smith.
The bonus will have all taxes removed, and will be distributed to the staff members today!
