Elon Musk is the richest man in the world, valued at an estimated $246.6 billion, but there is one surprising luxury that even he doesn't have.
Apparently, Musk doesn't own a home.
Speaking during a TED Talk Interview posted over the weekend, the Tesla CEO revealed "I don't even own a place right now, I'm literally staying at friends' places. If I travel to the Bay Area, which is where most of Tesla's engineering is, I basically rotate through friends' spare bedrooms."
Grimes, the mother of two of Musk's children, revealed in an earlier interview with Vanity Fair that the pair used to live in a "very insecure $40,000 house," saying at one point he had a mattress with a hole in it and didn't want to buy a new one.
And although it was reported that the couple broke up, she went on to say their relationship is "fluid," though they currently do live in separate houses. Well maybe she lives in a house currently.
