The complete takeover of outer space from billionaires continues on.
Though Elon Musk has not yet gone to space, as have his counterparts Richard Branson and Jeff Bezos, the Tesla CEO is in talks to potentially sell advertising space...in outer space.
The Canadian company Geometric Energy Corporation is teaming with SpaceX to build the "CubeSat," a satellite where one side will be a pixelated screen that will display advertisements, logos, and other art.
Obviously, a lot of people are skeptical about these space advertisements.
Writer Danielle Weisberg said, "Elon Musk sucks so bad man. If I am out there camping looking for constellations and I see [an effing] billboard instead, I will lose what is left of my mind."
An author named Alan Baxter echoed those sentiments saying "[Eff] this guy and [eff] his raping of our night skies. Fire him into the [effing] sun. Billionaires are a planetary cancer."
According to The Wrap, you probably won't be able to see the space ads from your home, and instead will need to tune into a live stream on YouTube or Twitch in order to do so.
