Elton John experienced something a lot of us hate even thinking about when his plane suffered hydraulic failure 10,000 feet in the sky.

And even more so, after multiple attempts, the plane had trouble landing.

John was flying from the U.K. to New York to perform at Madison Square Garden on his "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour.

According to The Sun, the plane suffered hydraulic failure about one hour into the flight while they were 10,000 feet in the air. And fierce winds with gusts up to 80 mph meant the plane would have trouble making a safe landing!

Thankfully, on the third attempt, the plane made a safe landing on the tarmac where they were greeted by a bevy of emergency service vehicles to make everyone on board was ok.

And you'd understand if Elton had some reservations about flyuing soon after that incident. But no.

He immediately boarded another flight, and made it to the Big Apple on time for his show!
