The Dallas Cowboys got a much-needed win on Sunday with a 30-7 blowout over Cincinnati Bengals. For a couple of players, the trip to Ohio was a homecoming of sorts. Andy Dalton, our interim quarterback, was returning to Cincy after playing the majority of his NFL career starting for the Bengals. For Ezekiel Elliott, it was a flashback to his college years where he was an award-winning running back at Ohio State.
After the victory, Zeke proudly paraded around the field holding his arms up in an 'O' for Ohio. It was a move he frequently displayed to celebrate his success with the Buckeyes. This time, however, he was greeted to boos from the limited number of fans in the stands.
Elliott relished the attention and trolled the jeering crowd on Twitter.
I'm always here for a little ribbing. Let's just hope Zeke and America's Team can keep backing it up.
