Vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris was campaigning through Texas last Friday, encouraging citizens to vote on the last day of early voting in the state.
While the campaign was traveling from San Antonio to Austin, a group of vehicles displaying Donald Trumps flags and paraphernalia approached the bus on I-35, with a Biden campaign official describing their actions as "an attempt to slow down the bus and run it off the road."
The people in this "Trump Train" allegedly yelled profanities and obscenities and proceeded to "blockade the entire Biden entourage," according to a source familiar with the incident.
Video shows a vehicle part of the escort being swiped by a truck in the Trump Train.
Staffers on the bus called 911, which eventually led to local law enforcement assisting the bus to its destination.
President Trump would claim during a campaign rally Sunday that his followers were only "protecting" the bus. "But it is something, did you see the way our people they ... you know they were protecting his bus yesterday, because they're nice," the President said.
The FBI has launched an investigation into the incident. Neither Biden nor Kamala Harris was on the bus during the incident, though reports say former state senator Wendy Davis was. Davis' campaign declined to comment on the incident.
