This might be the most "Florida Man story of all time," as it involves a man literally named Florida.
Lawrence Franklin King Florida was busted by the Zephyrhills Police Department after an absolutely ridiculous crime spree, which involved the man in his late '20s breaking into seven different businesses over the course of one night.
During his spree, Florida broke into a local seafood restaurant where he stole all their White Claws, after which he threw them in a retention pond out back, he stole a set of clippers from a barbershop, and then an additional five set of clippers from another barbershop, he broke into a carpet store and then a café, stealing $800 in cash, and he broke into a vet's office, and then a another business called Little Cat Rescue, where he stole some pain medication meant for animals.
Florida's night of fun ended around 5:30 that morning, when he returned home after deciding to steal his neighbor's Ring camera. Obviously, the neighbor was notified of Florida's presence and theft, and called the police.
When officers arrived at Florida's home, he admitted to breaking into all of the businesses, and walked officers through how he did it.
According to WFLA, Florida is facing a multitude of charges.
