30-year-old Eric Popper was driving along I-95 southbound in Miami back in June when he allegedly cut off a dark-colored Camry. Well horns were honked and brake-checks were issued, and the two cars were facing off in the middle of the highway in a classic instance of road rage.
Well, the Camry decided to make its move and pass Popper, who then decided to unlock a handgun from his center console and start firing. While driving. On a busy highway in Miami.
All told, Popper fired 11 shots from his front seat, THROUGH his window and windshield, shattering them in the process.

You can clearly hear something strike Popper's car as the Camry passes, so he and his attorney are claiming the Camry fired shots at him first, so Popper's gunfire was only in self defense.
Both drivers pulled over after the incident and called 911 to report the Toyota-on-Toyota altercation. More dashcam video shows Popper calling 911 from his stopped car saying that he was shot at and returned fire, though the Camry driver told police that he had only thrown a water bottle at Popper's car and that he did not have a firearm with him.
Thankfully, both drivers, along with everyone else sharing the road that day, escaped unharmed.
Popper is currently awaiting trial on two felony charges, including aggressive assault with a firearm. If convicted, he could face a sentence of up to 15 years in prison.
