It was not medicinal.

46-year-old Matthew Cusumano of Madeira Beach, Florida was riding his bike early one morning last Friday when he was pulled over by the police because his bike didn't have any lights.

Unfortunately, Cusumano had an outstanding warrant due to drug charges from last Summer, so he was immediately searched by the police. And even more unfortunately, he had more drugs on his person.

According to The Smoking Gun, Cusumano had two glass pipes and a third-of-an-ounce of meth on him, though he told police he was allowed to have it because it was MEDICINAL, and he had a prescription for it.

Now believe it or not, there is an actual form of meth that can be prescribed by doctors called Desoxyn which is used for ADHD and weight loss, though that comes in a pill, and Cusumano's meth was in crystal form.

Obviously, Cusumano's excuse didn't work, and he was arrested for possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia.

He is currently being held in the Pinellas County jail on those two counts as well as the previous warrant.
