Deputies in Okaloosa County, Florida where trying to serve arrests warrants on a man when they him mowing his back yard.
They shouted at the 40-year-old to get off the riding mower and get onto the ground, but the man did not comply. Instead, he took off. On the riding lawn mower.
A short chase ensued with the officers not far behind on foot, ending when one of the deputies whipped out a taser.
According to WPTV, the man was caught with a revolver, a handcuff key, and a pipe with methamphetamine residue in his possession at the time of his apprehension.
He is facing charges of grand theft, grand theft of a vehicle, felony criminal mischief, two counts of resisting an officer, possession of a concealed weapon by a convicted felon, carrying a concealed handcuff key, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony failure and other counts.
