In 1983 while Queen was taking a break, Freddie Mercury got together with Michael Jackson at his home studio for a recording session.  The session did not last long.

Apparently, Mercury left after Jackson kept bringing his pet llama into the studio!

Mercury's bass player on his solo album, Mr. Bad Guy, Jo Burt told the New York Post, "I think the last straw was when Michael brought his pet llama into the studio.  I think Freddie sort of took umbrage to that."

Oh what could have been, as the three songs the two were meant to work on, "Victory," "State of Shock," and "There Must Be More To Life Than This," have never been officially released.

While those versions of the songs have been lost, Mercury did release a solo version of "There Must Be More to Life Than This" on his first solo album Mr. Bad Guy, and Jackson ended up recording "State of Shock" with Mick Jagger for The Jackson's 1984 album Victory.
