I might be late to the party pawty on this, but apparently the Frisco RoughRiders have an official bat dog. Many of the Minor League baseball teams have them, and the Rangers' farm team has one as well.
Brooks is an 8-year-old Golden Retriever/Lab mix. He's been working with the team since 2015. According to his official bio on the Riders' website:
Brooks is one of the most important members of the staff, spreading positive vibes throughout Riders Field. 2022 marks the 8th season for the lab/retriever with the RoughRiders, who quickly became a fixture at Riders games. His talents include running the bases, eating dog treats and bringing smiles to people's faces. He loves to visit with Riders fans of all ages at Riders games and helping make their experience at the ballpark a memorable one.

Brooks is one of the four dogs featured in Chewy's baseball cards. Looks like I'll be heading to a RoughRiders game soon.
