A TikTok user named Kathryn Verb posted a video in response to the question: "What is the worst way you've ever been ghosted?" She said she dated a guy for two years who thought he had COVID-19 so he went to the doctor. According to Verb, the day he said was feeling better, she never heard from him again.

Her calls and texts went unanswered for weeks so she finally called local police departments and hospitals. In her video she explained that officers said that name doesn't exist, and then she claimed he faked his own death.

If it's true, that totally sucks, but there are holes in the story (maybe due to poor editing) that don't make sense. If he was "feeling better", why does she think he faked his own death? Local authorities couldn't find anyone by that name, but does it exist on a national level? It's 24 months of her romantic life down the drain, but at least she can laugh about it now.
