It's normal for golf courses to be open to the public during a school's golf practice, and not uncommon for them to even be in the middle of tournaments on the same day, and that's exactly what the Vista Ridge Rangers encountered when they showed up for practice at Avery Ranch Golf Club.

This particular tournament, however, caused coach Keith Allen to immediately cancel practice and call all the parents to pick their children up.

Vista Ridge had practice the same day Avery Ranch was hosting a golf tournament organized by the Yellow Rose, an adult entertainment club located in Austin.

Coach Allen told Fox 7 that the situation was "very inappropriate," and that the adults participating in the tournament were "acting very inappropriately" and that some of his golfers "did witness some lewd behavior."

Allen said in a letter that Vista Ridge had "no prior knowledge" the tournament was being held, and that school officials contacted Avery Ranch and were told that the course "was not aware that these inappropriate actions would occur" and that the course "does not condone these actions."

Avery Ranch announced they would not be hosting Yellow Rose in the future.

Allen says that Vista Ridge has had a 20-year relationship with Avery Ranch, and that what occurred "is not acceptable."

He also said that the school will work closely with Avery Ranch to ensure it doesn't happen again.
