Gwyneth Paltrow sells a multitude of products through her lifestyle brand Goop, including a variety of candles that smell like...her.
Well one of these candles, the "This Smells Like My Vagina" one, made its way to the home of journalist Jody Thompson, who won it during an online Christmas party.
Unfortunately one evening, it exploded right in the middle of her living room.
Thompson explained, "The candle exploded and emitted huge flames, with bits flying everywhere. I've never seen anything like it. The whole thing was ablaze and it was too hot to touch. There was an inferno in the room."
Luckily, Thompson appears to have escaped the explosion without suffering any serious injury.

Noora Raj Brown, spokeswoman for Goop, said because the candle wasn't actually purchased from Goop, the company isn't "able to verify its authenticity." However, she did add "the factory that manufactures the goop x Heretic candles is certified by The National Candle Association of America, which regulates that candles meet stipulated safety guidelines and ASTM and CPSC fire safety protocols. As a precaution, we've alerted the manufacturer to the woman's issue and have also reached out to her to send her some goop products to help pass the days in quarantine."
Luckily, Thompson is able to laugh about it now. She said, "It could have burned the place down. It was scary at the time, but funny looking back that Gwyneth's vagina candle exploded in my living room."
