The beloved grocery store chain H-E-B is FINALLY coming to North Texas, and will be set to break ground on its new location in McKinney next week!

The San Antonio-based grocer announced last summer that it's building a store on the northeast corner of Custer Road and Eldorado Parkway.

H-E-B told Dallas News it takes about 16 months to build one of its supermarkets. They announced their McKinney location last year shortly after breaking ground on locations in Plano and Frisco.

Both of those stores are set to open this fall.

The Plano store is under construction on the southwest corner of Preston Road and Spring Creek Parkway.

The Frisco location is on the northeast corner of Legacy Drive and Main Street.
