For weeks now, Texans have been warned daily to conserve energy in case of another heat-related power outage. ERCOT has said that don't expect grid issues again, but we should take precautionary measures.

A meteorologist at the ABC affiliate in Houston, TX realized just how impactful these warnings were when he was reporting on them during his Tuesday evening broadcast. Travis Herzog was explaining the excessive heat causing a major demand on energy when the studio lights went out.
