
The East Coast in the middle of a gas shortage right now, which is in due part to people acting stupid and trying to hoard as much gas as possible.
A man in Homosassa, Florida decided to take advantage of a Texaco Food Mart having a steady supply of gasoline by filling up four, 5-gallon containers. He put them in the back on his Hummer, and as soon as he pulled out of the gas station parking lot, his vehicle burst into flames.
According to the New York Post, firefighters were able to extinguish the fire in about 20 minutes. One person was injured but refused to be transported to a hospital.
The Florida State Fire Marshal’s Office is currently investigating the official cause of the fire
