Our Dr. Miles Intervention this morning involves a woman who does not want her husband to go on a hunting trip with his buddies.
Obviously he wants to attend, and has stated explicitly he will go if the couple hosts Thanksgiving at their house this year. The holiday rotates among the family members' houses every year, but he is not looking forward to it because he always gets into "hardcore political arguments" with her sister every single year.
And honestly we'd probably guess the entire family is tired of hearing those.
So he wants to go on a hunting trip...DURING THANKSGIVING!
So what should this woman do? It's not like she can cancel Thanksgiving at their home right? Even though it's a couple of months away, travel plans have been made, but should she let him get away with holding the holiday hostage to go on this hunting trip?
