A 30-year-old man thought he could utilize the powers of Spider-Man trying to escape the police. Unfortunately, he quickly learned that a superhero he is not.
The New York man stole a bunch of cartons of Häagen-Dazs ice cream from a CVS and decided to make a run for it. The cops were en route when he scaled a fence in a building's courtyard to try and get away. Unfortunately, on the other side of the fence was a ledge 25 ft. above the ground, and that's where police found him.
He was still too high to safely drop to the ground, but he was not able to climb the fence to head back into the courtyard. Luckily for him, he found an air vent to stand on, so at least he was moderately comfortable while he waited for the police.
According to NBC New York, he was rescued by police and subsequently arrested. He is now facing charges for larceny and possession of stolen property. Police found ten cartons if ice cream in his backpack.
