Welcome to Dallas, Stella!

As the saying goes, "Don't mess with Texas", and we natives take a lot of pride in our state. But we definitely have stereotypes, and some ring true. A social media influencer named Stella Williams moved to Dallas three days ago. As she gets acclimated, she's documenting her experience as a newbie on her TikTok page.

Each day, she has funny (and possibly harsh if you don't have thick skin) commentary about our metroplex. Observations include things like:

If you cross the wrong street, how are you in the hood that fast?

Someone told me I was in 'Dallas Proper', and I don't know what that means.

I did find a mall called 'The Highlands' and I found a Racetrac, so I feel like that was the plus of Arlington.

Fort Worth... why?

Preston Hollow wanna be Beverly Hills so bad.

I ended up at a vegan restaurant in Bishop Arts. The vibe in there is like, your auntie would love it.
