35-year-old Moises Robles was having enjoying his evening one day last week when unfortunately, he thought a man with a gun started chasing him.
Now we can't be sure that a man was actually chasing Moises, as he was drinking and doing METH on the night in question, but never-the-less, he began running for his life.
In order to escape the supposed man with a gun, Moises scaled a fence. And then another fence. And then he climbed up to the second-floor patio of a building and made his way into the lobby seeking solace and protection.
Unfortunately for Moises, he found himself in the middle of the Maple Street Correctional Center, having broken into the jail unknowingly.
A correctional officer initially thought Moises was an escape inmate, but when he saw he was in street clothes arrested him for trespassing. Moises is also facing charges of theft because at the time of his arrest, he had a bunch of other people's credit cards on him.
Per the San Mateo Daily Journal, Moises' trial is set to begin in November.
