Actor Jamie Foxx was hospitalized Tuesday morning after what sources are calling a “medical complication.”
Though the exact nature of the complication is unknown, sources tell TMZ that it was serious enough for some of Foxx’s family whom live out of town to travel and see him in the hospital.

However, there is good news, as Foxx’s family say he is “already on his way to recovery.”
Foxx’s daughter Corinne Foxx posted an update on Instagram saying her father immediately got "great care," and is now on the mend.
Foxx had been working on a film in Atlanta called Back in Action, that also stars Glenn Close and Cameron Diaz.
There is no timetable on when he will be discharged from the hospital or return back to work.
