Danny Sheehan is a 7-year-old boy who has been battling a rare form of brain cancer named Pineoblastoma since January, 2017.
He is also a huge fan of the comic book superhero "Aquaman," and a video of his reaction to opening an Aquaman action figure made it all the way to the eyes of the man himself, Jason Momoa.
Momoa has been portraying the character in a series of films since 2016, and was absolutely touched by Sheehan's reaction to receiving the toy, who can be heard shouting in the video, "I love Aquaman!" Momoa would later write on Instagram, "I saw his video online that made me want to get in touch and FaceTime him and spend some time talking to him."
So a meeting was set up, and Sheehan was able to actually talk with Aquaman Jason Momoa himself!
Danny's mother Natalie wrote on the Facebook page she maintains for Danny, "Thank you for making this call and for making Danny the happiest little boy ever. And a huge thank you to everyone who shared D's video and made the seemingly impossible of him meeting his superhero hero totally possible! My mom heart is bursting with joy, thankfulness, and love."
Momoa promised Danny a trip to see dolphins, his favorite animal, one day, and also begged Warner Bros. to get Danny one of Aqauman's actual tridents from the films.
