
Jason Witten is calling it a career again.
The future Hall of Famer announced his second retirement yesterday after 17 seasons of playing in the NFL, 16 of which were with the Cowboys. Witten spent the last year of his playing career as a member of the Las Vegas Raiders.
Witten initially retired following the 2017 season, opting to move to a career broadcasting with ESPN. After one season on television, he returned to the field with thew Cowboys in 2019 before moving onto the Raiders for 2020.
The 11-time Pro Bowler intends on signing a one-day contract so he can retire as a member of the Dallas Cowboys.
