Courtney Polito from Scotts Valley, CA was away from home when she received an alert from her doorbell camera. An away message played, but the man at the door was persistent. Polito watched as the stranger pressed the bell again so she finally answered via intercom.

The video shows Polito saying, "Hi" to a winded man in a yellow t-shirt and earbuds. He informed her that there was smoke coming from her house. Since she wasn't there, she immediately gave the man her security code and asked him to rescue her pets.

Without hesitation, the passerby entered the front door to retrieve two Dachshunds, a cat, and a rabbit. Once the animals were safely out, the Good Samaritan called 911. Polito never got his name, but she's so thankful he saved her four-legged family members.
