We knew it would be a contentious divorce, but things have quickly grown heated between Kevin Costner and his estranged wife Christine Baumgarten.
Courts documents obtained by People show that Baumgarten has requested child support for the three children the couple share, to the tune of $248,000 a month!
Baumgarten says, however, that the figure is actually "less" than what she needs to "maintain the children in their accustomed lifestyle." The pair's three children are 13, 14, and 16.
Further, Baumgarten has also requested Costner pay 100% of the kids' private school tuition, extracurricular activities, sports, and healthcare expenses.
According to Costner's attorneys, the actor has already paid Baumgarten $1 million, as stipulated in their prenup, and also agreed to also pay $38,000 a month in child support in addition to 100% of "certain child-related costs."
Costner also agreed to pay $30,000 a month for a rental home for Christine, with a $10,000 advance for moving expenses.
