Lying is definitely wrong and parents should still teach their kids that it should not become a part of their daily life, but that doesn't mean the skills that are associated with good liars should go to waste.
Apparently, according to research from the University of Sheffield in England, kids that are good at lying more often than not have excellent memories, which means sense when you are tasked with keeping track of all your lies.
Developmental psychologist Dr. Elena Hoicka said of the findings, "While parents are usually not too proud when their kids lie, they can at least be pleased to discover that when their children are lying well, it means their children are becoming better at thinking and have good memory skills."
