Kim Kardashian is dipping her toe once again into the private sector.
The billionaire recently announced her partnership with industry veteran Jay Sammons on her new private equity firm SKYY Partners. SKYY says they are aiming to translate Kim's "influence into investments."
Though best known for her reality television and homemade movie career, Kim has quietly been building something of a business empire.
Her apparel business Skims was valued at $3.2 billion earlier this year, and she says that she plans to use her experience to help grow companies the firm invests in.
Sammons, a former partner at Carlyle Group, will run the firm's day-to-day operations.
Kardashian and Sammons say they haven't starting raising funds yet, but according to The Guardian, say SKYY will make its first investment before the end of the year.
