Lionel Messi is the biggest soccer player on the planet right now.
His accolades speak for himself, and even if you aren’t the biggest soccer fan you need to realize that this guy is the real deal.
hear 98.7 the spot now!
He’s a phenom, and he recently joined Major League Soccer, singing a deal with David Beckham’s franchise Inter Miami CF.
Inter Miami, and Frisco’s own FC Dallas are currently in the MLS playoffs and are scheduled for a showdown in the next round…in North Texas.
This will be the first time Messi ever takes the pitch in DFW, and it will be a monumental occasion.
We tell you all this because the traffic in Frisco will be a bit of a Messi on Sunday (see what we did there?)
Inter Miami and FC Dallas are scheduled to face off against each other Sunday, August 6 (time yet to be determined) at Toyota Stadium, so things might get a little hectic.
They don’t call rabid soccer fans “hooligans” for nothing.
Tickets for the match are available beginning today, but you can best believe they will be snatched up quick. If you want to be a witness for Messi’s first-ever game in North Texas, you should expect to pay a pretty penny on the secondary market!
Per WFAA, tickets will start at $199 and will be available at price points of $199, $249, $399 and $499. Over 80% of the tickets will be at the $199 and $249 price points.
