Study finds listening to music while studying helps boost your GPA

Parents, do not discourage your kids from being on their headphones while they are doing their schoolwork.

A new study has found that listening to music while studying can actually boost a student’s GPA!

The study, conducted by SWNS Digital, found that on average, kids who listened to music while they studied had a GPA above 3.2

The most popular genres of music proved to be Classical, R&B, and Country.

The rest of the top genres of music to listen to while studying are as follows: Rock, Oldies, Gospel, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Pop, and "Instrumental Soundtracks."
