Niko Valdez traveled to Arlington with his girlfriend and their families to attend the Cowboys' Thanksgiving game against the Raiders.
Niko had a few surprises up his sleeve though, as he was planning on surprising his girlfriend with a proposal.
Niko's father Adrian Valdez told FOX 4, "Approximately six months prior to the day, my son made plans to surprise his girlfriend and propose at AT&T Stadium when we went to the annual Cowboys Thanksgiving game. Cowboys stadium is a special place as we are all Cowboys fans. We recently learned she was 10 weeks pregnant and got her to the stadium under the ruse of taking photos of them with a onesie announcing the new addition to the family."
Well the proposal hit a little bit of a snag because when Niko began dropping down to one knee, the ring poured out of the box and became lost somewhere in a fountain at AT&T Stadium.
A family member can be heard saying in the video, "Are you serious? Did he really do that?"
Luckily after a frantic half-hour search, Niko and his family found the ring, and the proposal went off without a hitch.
And of course, she said "yes."
