Transporting illicit materials through an airport is never a good idea, and if you get caught you’re subject to often insane fines or punishments.
This might be the most insane.

A passenger was flying from Bali, Indonesia to Northern Australia when a K-9 officer alerted human officers to something in his luggage.
Upon a check of his luggage, officers discovered a very illegal collection of a McDonald’s meal: two McMuffins and a ham croissant.
Unfortunately, the man didn’t appear to declare the food items to security, and thus was slapped with a fine of $1,874 for trying to bring the food into the Land Down Under.
Murray Watt, Australia’s minister for agriculture, fisheries and forestry, said Monday per the New York Post, “This will be the most expensive Maccas meal this passenger ever has.
“This fine is twice the cost of an airfare to Bali, but I have no sympathy for people who choose to disobey Australia’s strict biosecurity measures, and recent detections show you will be caught.”
Australia has eradicated foot and mouth disease and wants to ensure it doesn’t get brought back into the country through undeclared meat products, according to government officials.
