A father is being reamed online for the choice of name he's decided to give his upcoming baby girl.
He's naming her Helena Jessie, in honor of his grandmother and father, respectively.
On the surface, absolutely nothing wrong with that name; it's actually very sweet. And this guy thought so, too. 22 years ago. When he gave his first daughter the very same name.
Apparently, this guy explained to 22-year-old Helena that their names would actually be different because 22-year-old has her mother's last name, and new baby would have his new wife's last name. So different!
Yeah, people were not buying this dad's story. One person commented, "Yeah this sound suspiciously like your father wants a do-over... the same first and middle names for two children. No."
Another wrote, "Yeah like your stepmom obviously KNEW your name so what in the fresh hell was she thinking?!"
