A 33-year-old man from the Netherlands has recently been sentenced to four months in jail after he hid in a cardboard box and shipped himself to his ex-girlfriend’s house.
According to Dutch News, upon being delivered the man popped out of the box, threatened his ex with a gun, and then took off with her keys.
Apparently, the man told the judge presiding over his case that this was the only way he would be able to “get his stuff back.”
After the box incident, the woman placed cameras in her home and caught the man returning to her house three separate occasions.
He tried to say the visits were consensual, but the judge wasn’t buying it.
He was sentenced to jail for stalking, and the woman was also granted a three-year restraining order.
