Like any dude, 22-year-old Taylor Beverly of Florida wanted to show off for his lady. It was their first date after all, so why not put on a little bit of a show?
Unfortunately, this evening is probably not what Beverly, and DEFINITELY his date had in mind!
At some point during the evening, while the pair were riding on Beverly's motorcycle, he ran a red light. A cop at the intersection tried to pull him over, and the 22-year-old just kept going.
He eventually reached speeds of 100 miles per hour weaving in and out of traffic trying to get away from the cops, and even proceeded to run MORE red lights.
The police eventually did catch up to Beverly, who tried to explain that he was only trying to "show off" for his date. She didn't seem too impressed however, as he reportedly told the cops she was "screaming at him to stop, but he refused."
According to The Smoking Gun, Beverly was arrested and is facing felony charges after fleeing from the cops. His previous run-ins with the law include convictions for cocaine possession, grand theft, and passing a counterfeit check.
We do not think there will be a second date.
